De los operativos participarán unos 1.000 policías y habrán puestos fijos y móviles distribuidos en las diferentes rutas y accesos de Mendoza
Además en las maniobras, los efectivos policiales intensificarán los controles de alcoholemia para evitar cualquier tipo de accidente vial.
Entre las actividades que se encuentran habilitadas están: el turismo interno, paseos al aire libre y actividades culturales.
Por este motivo, también los operativos se desarrollarán en Alta Montaña y en los diferentes espejos de agua.
Trabajarán en conjunto personal de la cartera de Seguridad, Ministerio de Salud y los distintos municipios.

Además, el Ministerio de Seguridad brinda una serie de recomendaciones para prevenir accidentes viales.
Entre los principales consejos para los automovilistas se aconseja colocarse siempre el cinturón de seguridad previo a encender el rodado y nunca manejar si se ha ingerido bebidas alcohólicas.
Según los especialistas en seguridad vial es importante evitar el uso del teléfono celular al momento de conducir un vehículo, ya que este elemento provoca distracciones.
Los niños menores de 12 años deberán ir sentados atrás con el cinturón de seguridad colocado y los menores de 0 a 4 años deberán circular en una sillita de seguridad especial.
En tanto para los motociclistas y ciclistas, es vital el uso del casco y al igual que los automovilistas se debe respetar las señalizaciones como las velocidades permitidas.
